Pricing, Straight Up

Can the price change once you start?

No. We agree a fixed price upfront, before any tools come out, and that figure doesn't move once you've said yes. If something unexpected turns up mid-job, we stop and talk it through with you first.

How does your pricing work for drain jobs?

We quote a fixed, upfront price after we've had a proper look, not an hourly rate that runs up the longer a job takes. You'll know the full figure before we start clearing anything.

What does "$65 off your first service" cover?

It's $65 off your first job with us, applied to whatever drain work you need done, from a single blocked toilet to a full CCTV inspection. There's no catch attached to it.

How do I pay?

Once the job's done and you're happy, we settle up on the spot. We'll run through the payment options with you when we confirm your booking.

Licensed, Insured and Guaranteed

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We hold NSW Plumbing Licence #292427C, and cover both water and gas under full insurance, so one visit handles either trade.

Can I clear a blocked drain myself?

For one blocked fixture, a plunger is a fair first attempt. Shop-bought chemicals and rental eels tend to do more harm than good on older pipework, and a drain that keeps backing up needs a proper look to find what's actually causing it.

What does the lifetime labour warranty cover?

It covers our workmanship on the job, for life. If the fix doesn't hold, we come back and put it right at no extra cost to you.

Who actually turns up?

A local, owner-led team. The director still works on the tools, and there's a dedicated drain-and-sewer specialist who handles the trickier, recurring blockages.

Booking, Timing and Turnaround

What counts as a drain emergency?

Sewage coming back up inside the house, water pooling around a fixture, or a toilet that simply won't flush no matter what. If it's stopping you using the home properly, treat it as urgent and call us.

What happens after I call?

We talk through what's going on over the phone and book in a time, often the same day. On arrival we diagnose the problem honestly before any work starts, so you know exactly what you're paying for.

Are you really open 24 hours?

Yes, genuinely. A real person answers the phone day or night, not a machine, and same-day service is available for most Burwood blockages.

How do I book?

Call (02) 9160 0340 and we'll get you booked straight in. You can also leave your details on our contact form and one of the team will ring you back.

Local Answers for Burwood

Why do tree roots block so many Burwood drains?

The mature trees along heritage streets have root systems that find their way into older clay pipes as the ground shifts. Once a root gets a foothold in a crack or joint, it keeps growing and the blockage keeps coming back.

How local are you, really?

Genuinely local. We're working the Burwood CBD and the streets around the station most weeks, so we already know the mix of old terraces, walk-up units and newer apartments before we arrive.

Who is responsible for a blocked sewer, me or Sydney Water?

As a general rule, you're responsible for the private drainage on your property, up to where it connects to the main. Sydney Water looks after the pipes beyond that point, though it's always worth checking your specific situation.

Why does my drain block again after heavy rain?

Stormwater surcharge is common around the dense Burwood CBD, where hard-paved areas near the station push a lot of runoff into the same drains at once. If a line is already partly blocked, heavy rain is often what tips it over into a full backup.
